DEPARTMENT OF BOTANY

Department of botany was started in the college in 1975  and proved to be a premier branch of the college.

The department of botany has a very good museum, laboratory with full fledged equipment. The department is also having a botanical garden which includes medical plants. The Botanical Garden is having the Pond Eco System (PEC) with Aquatic Plants and Animals.

The Department is having its own Library which is sufficient for the needs of the students as per their curriculum. 

The Courses offered involving Botany under Three Major System  are BZC & BHC.

The Department offers Under Graduate Course Botany under Single Major System from the academic year 2023-24.
