Department of physics is well known for teaching for research abilities it has been often physics as one of the combination only with Mathematics, Chemistry since from 1975-1976 Restructured course were interdicted during 1998-1999 in B.Sc Maths Physics Computer Science as one group the department have fully fledged teaching faculty and a very good laboratory facilities with all equipments.

The department carved a niche for itself in this college and eminent teachers brought recognizing to the department .The faculty of department consecrating working for enrichment knowledge for the students.
