DEPARTMENT OF ORIYA

This college was established in the year of 1971, the only and first Degree College in the Tekkali Revenue Division. The college initially started with B.A and B.Com Courses. The college started B.Sc Course in 1975 with M.P.C and C.B.Z groups.

 Department of Oriya was started with the inception of the college in 1971 and has completed 50 fruitful years of its existence and proved to be a premier branch of the college offering conventional as well as diversified courses such as restructured courses catering to the educational needs of new millennium.

The department Introduced restructured courses like Special Oriya in 1997 with H.O.P group with Combination of (History, Special Oriya, Politics) the approval of Andhra University . The College is now affiliated to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University. Srikakulam from the academic year 2011 - 2012 as per the orders of government of Andhra Pradesh.
