Government Degree College , Tekkali had been established in 1971 with Arts and Sciences groups successively. Government of Andhra Pradesh had been offering post matric scholarships to the SC, ST ,BC and EWS students whose annual income is not exceeding 2 lakhs.Government of AP is offering the students the reimbursement in the name of JAGANANNA VIDYADEEVENA(JVD) and providing JAGANANNA VASATHIDEEVENA(JVSD) for the hostel facility. Most of the student beneficiaries are from very remote and far off places from the college . The college creates a healthy atmosphere to the students to register their names in the official Government portal Jnanabhumi prescribed for scholarship. We also encourage students to apply for domestic and non- domestic scholarships which are being offered under different organisations.The students are also encouraged by different stakeholders and philanthropists in and around the state of Andhra Pradesh for the sake of improving quality of learning in their respective fields.A few donors and stakeholders voulentarily pannounced a scholarship for the merit students.
